I found the perfect vitamins but.............?
I finally found vegan multivitamins with 14mg of iron, which is what I want, mostly out of them. BUT I tried to swallow it and it didnt work (I just cant swallow pills whatsoever) then I tried to put it in water so I drank it all then i threw it up lol
how can i take it?? i always take it before bed so i cant like put it in a peanut butter sandwich or anything.
does broccoli have any iron? i eat alot of it

I agree with the person that said to try to include as many iron-rich foods in your diet as possible. Broccoli has some iron, but have you ever tried watercress. It's great on a salad or just mixed with some sesame seeds. A lot of Asian places carry the salad itself which is delicious.
If you still want to try a supplement, I would suggest iron bisglycinate. It's often called Easy Iron because it is readily absorbed in your system and toxicity is never an issue because it adjusts itself. Anything you don't need is eliminated (number 2..sorry). I think there are two companies which offer vegicaps, too if you do not want to deal with the gelatin caps.
My body has a very hard time absorbing iron and the iron bisgylcinate has been the only thing that's worked. I could not take the inorganic forms and I too tossed them up whole.
Crushing your multivitamin is an option, too. You might also consider simply taking your multivitamin in liquid form or powder mixed with water or juice. There are several companies that offer this option, too.
